Samsung smuggles new Series 9 prototype into IFA: 2,560 x 1,440 on the matte display (hands-on)

Well, this snuck on us. Near to the finish from the first official open-floor trip to IFA, Samsung handled to eke out another product you want to get our on the job, soonish. This 13-inch Series 9 WQHD Ultrabook beams Home windows 8 on 2,560 x 1,440 display (indeed), creating a visible leap past the existing Series 9 13-incher, which stays to some more typical 1,600 x 900. Better yet, the top of screen includes a gentle matte finish. The engineering sample showed up within the Samsung spokesperson's hands just 7 days ago. The resolution matches ASUS' high-grade gamer monitor in pixels, if falling very slightly lacking the Retina Display on Apple's latest Mac laptop model. There is no news on which the maker will call the brand new display tech, further specifications, or perhaps whether it was only a evidence of concept -- the unit was chilling on the electronics giant's innovation gallery.
