AMD verifies tablet-friendly Z-series APU, next-gen Trinity APU for bigger devices

AMD loves to take it is time before walking within the ring, but it is switched up at Computex using its gown off and mouthguard in. Its much-leaked Z-series Fusion APU (also known as "Desna") for tablet products has become official and may well steal a number of ARM's thunder. Whereas ARM chips can get together with the following version of Home windows, AMD's Z-series has already been updated in to the here-and-now. Its integrated dual 1Ghz Bobcat chips and Radeon HD 6250 graphics should permit the full Home windows 7 experience on the tablet, from USB peripheral compatibility right lower to Xbox 360 360 Media Extender functionality. In addition, it drinks under 6W of energy same with considerably slimmer compared to 9W Ontario APU running Acer's Iconia W500 Home windows 7 tablet.
