AT&T responds towards the Department of Justice?s lawsuit

AT&ampT-T-Mobile�After taking flak in the Department of Justice a week ago for trying to get T-Mobile, AT&T has finally filed an answer towards the DOJ s suit today. Based on CNET s report, AT&T stated in the response the DOJ does not understand the advantages of the offer and isn t painting a precise picture from the competitive atmosphere. AT&T then reiterated its formerly pointed out points about how exactly the purchase gives AT&T more spectrum and allow the company provide wireless broadband use of more and more people, and so forth nothing we haven t heard before.

AT&T also continued to say that obstructing the purchase would cause more difficulties for T-Mobile that is banking about the deal to occur because it s been losing clients and doesn t possess the necessary spectrum to maneuver to some 4G network and it is parent, Deutsche Telekom doesn t intend to invest in it. However, AT&T has expressed a desire for dealing with the DOJ to beat the issues it raised in the suit.

AT&T still remains confident that it'll close the offer, but we ll soon discover what its odds are if this would go to court using the DOJ on September 21st.
