Philips Develops the very first Universal Android Speaker Pier [Audio]

The Android marketplace is, as everyone knows, woefully fragmented. Fortunately, Philips has finally determined steps to make a stand alone speakers that may connect with any Android device, no matter manufacturer.

The Philips Fidelio series comprises three tiers of products, the flagship AS851 model and 2 more compact versions. The AS851 features 30 Watt loudspeakers, a multi-position micro USB port, five band equalizer and handheld remote control. The micro USB port could be reconfigured to suit any make of Android phone, yet is not really accustomed to be a musician it is just for charging the unit. Rather, customers are required to depend around the Philips Fidelio Application that easily streams music in the device using a Bluetooth connection. Huzzah

The AS851 sells for �199 and it is presently available. It's less than as elegant solution because the audio docks being released of Cupertino, but is handy for homes that do not use Apple (like mine). [Philips via PC Consultant]
