Ps Vita lands in Japan

Sony's launch of their Ps Vita portable gaming device in Japan has apparently gone off with no hitch.

The Connected Press reviews the gadget arrived in shops today, with 1000's of anxious players queuing up hrs in advance to get hold of it.

"I am so pleased to see a lot of people arranging for PS Vita so early each morning,Inch the AP cited The new sony Computer Entertainment Japan Leader Hiroshi Kono as saying on his official blog. "I will tell they'd anxiously anxiously waited for present day launch."

That might be, but Sony's decision to produce the Vita so late around--and, indeed, delay its U.S. launch until Feb--could certainly undermine the general splash the unit makes and curtail Sony's efforts in a publish-Ps Portable comeback.

When it comes to the sporadic gamer and consumer, The new sony faces growing competition from mobile phones, pills, and games-as-applications like Angry Wild birds.

Still, the Vita has the benefit of Sony's technological expertise and also the commitment of integration using the Ps 3 console.
