I have stated it many occasions before but my personal favorite kind of iPad applications are the type that interactively train you something. Just like a blend between an application along with a book. The Second World War Interactive, as you may guess, does exactly exactly that for World war 2.
This is an entire application devoted towards the history of the very horrifically terrible war in our time, The Second World War. You are able to stick to the entire timeline of occasions, from what triggered The Second World War towards the Aftermath and my way through between. What's especially great about The Second World War Interactive would be that the application gives you rare pictures and videos you've most likely never witnessed before (unless of course obviously, you are a large World war 2 aficionado). It is a little unsettling to determine images of teenagers in a war with one another and most just a little disturbing to determine HItler making speeches on video.
The Second World War Interactive allows you re-live the war, without like re-living the war. The application is fairly smartly designed too, depending on lots of intuitive swiping of groups (like Roots from the War, The War Erupts, etc.) that break lower into sub-groups which launch more specific articles and art galleries of photos or videos. I am a history aficionado, and so i love these items. The standard from the submissions are great too for individuals that do not like history, It causes it to be interesting enough with multimedia to help keep you interested.
