Using the proliferation of battery-hungry mobile products that individuals now keep on their person when biking, we have seen numerous solutions made to keep stated products billed up while on the run - from photo voltaic charging clothing and backpacks to include-on dynamo kits that permit products to become billed via USB using energy taken through the rider's pedaling. German bicycle maker Silverback has seen the requirement here and addressed it using its Starke 1 and a pair of models, each of which feature usb port spot powered with a dynamo hub.
Both Starke 1 and Starke 2 feature flow created nickel alloy frames and Shimano components including front and back hydraulic disc brakes. The dynamo-powered USB port is situated within the mind tube from the bikes' frames so when the dynamo is not getting used to top-up low current products, like a cell phone or Music player, it reverts towards the traditional dynamo task of running the bikes' lights. The Starke 1 also sports a built-in motor unit that delivers electric pedal assist for approximately 1.5 hrs or 32 km (20 miles).
Silverback will offer you the 12.5 kg (27.4 lb) Starke one in "Lime Fresh, Liberty Silver and Aston Black" (we are speculating that's eco-friendly, silver and black for that non-interior designers available), as the 11.9 kg (26.1 lb) Starke 2 will be Exotic Spice and Liquid Whitened (red-colored and whitened). The bikes will participate Silverback's 2012 fall into line, with prices and availability not yet been introduced.
