Low-cost pills really are a cent twelve within the Android world, with no title choices from Ainovo to budget stalwarts like Archos. There is however always room for additional competition and Sistem appears set on elbowing its method to a prominent place at the end. A gentle update to the existing slate selection, the power Tablet i8 keeps exactly the same 8-inch Liquid crystal display and 1,024 x 768 resolution (in 4:3 aspect ratio) of their Gingerbread-baked forerunners, but this time around packages it with Frozen Treats Sandwich onboard. The tab also comes outfitted by having an Arm Cortex A8 processor which is 1GHz, VGA front-facing / 2-megapixel rear camera setup, 8GB of storage (expanding to 64GB via microSD), 1GB RAM, High-definition multimedia interface-out, a 3,800mAh battery and support for Wi-fi compatability b/g/n. It's up for pre-order now around the company's site, by having an official release slated with this August 23rd. But at &euro185 (about $227), you may be best saving a couple of extra bills and paying for the greater premium Nexus 7. Official PR following the break.
