IDC Apples still king of the tablet hill with 68 percent of the market

IDC's cabal of statisticians, brainiacs and those that really adore excel spreadsheets have passed down their latest document concerning the condition from the tablet market. From the 25 million slates shipped within the second quarter, 17 million of these were iPads -- giving Apple 68.2 percent from the market. Samsung came second with 2.4 million products and Amazon . com third, although because the Amazon Kindle Fire maker does not reveal amounts, there's most likely some uncertainty involved there. Rounding the top 5 are ASUS and Acer, even though the former should be expecting to maneuver up a location (or more), with respect to the success from the Nexus 7 when Q3's answers are launched inside a couple of several weeks time.
