Watch: Microsoft's First Official 'Windows 8' Interface Demo

Lookin' good, Microsoft. Home windows 8 is shaping as much as be very touchy-feely, as Microsoft's first official video demo shows. There's a great deal of Home windows Phone 7 influence here, which causes it to be look nothing beats previous versions of Home windows designed for Computers.

That being stated,Microsoft's pr release states:

"Even though new interface was created and enhanced for touch, it really works as well having a mouse and keyboard. Our approach means no compromises you're able to go to whichever type of device you want, with peripheral devices you select, to operate the applications you like. This will certainly inspire a brand new generation of software and hardware development, enhancing the knowledge for PC customers all over the world.Inch

So that as Microsoft's Jensen Harris states within the above video, "It's gonna operate on laptops, it's gonna operate on desktop computers, it's gonna operate on Computers having a mouse and keyboard, it's gonna operate on touch slates, it's gonna operate on everything."

To date so great, however the proof is incorporated in the pudding. We will not see consumer versions of Home windows 8 this season, as Microsoft's Steven Sinofsky revealed in the Everything D conference, but Microsoft states it's "working very difficult to obtain the product ready for early testing," meaning we'll likely have ample time for you to have fun with it before it is made in stores.
