CSI: Miami may be from production, but that does not mean we'll lose casual eyeglasses flipping. Not if Ben Heck includes a say within the matter, a minimum of. His latest DIY project instantly shifts a set of clip-on shades into view whenever it's too sunny outdoors: a photocell mounted on an AT Small microcontroller inspections the sunshine levels and, with an Arduino-based AVR MKII language, informs a rotor to spin the glasses into position. Nobody is going to be labeled a fashionista using the requisite battery power shackled by their heads, however the construction does not require CNC milling and will not destroy a popular frame. We are only disappointed the shades will not take part in the Who on command... yet.
