Fujitsu Lifebook Ultrabook hands-on (video)

We still do not have detailed specs or perhaps a model no ., but we simply had an opportunity to go hands-up with Fujitsu's new Lifebook Ultrabook at CeBIT. The 14-inch device will ship in red-colored and silver, and it is very thin -- 16mm, to become more precise -- together with a frameless display that folds flat 180 levels to lie flush. The nearly edge-to-edge LCD looks fantastic, a minimum of powered off. There is a webcam up top, two USB 3. ports, one USB 2. port, a proprietary Ethernet connector, Sdcard slot, an High-definition multimedia interface port, earphone jack along with a Kensington Security Slot. There also seems to become a backlit keyboard along with a fingerprint readers -- one of the suggested security measures for Fujitsu's yet-to-be-named enterprise Ultrabook. The magnesium is very lightweight, at 1.5 kg (3.3 pounds), although the lid did feel a little flimsy, a minimum of around the sample we had today. Prices particulars haven't yet been introduced, though Fujitsu reps have confirmed the Ultrabook will ship by early summer time. Jump beyond the break for a closer inspection within our video hands-on.
