Polaroid's Professional smartphone series hands-on

It had not been just Polaroid's pills getting showing at MWC. The previous photo taking giant continues to be preparing an array of Android-powered mobile phone models it's trying to not get wrongly identified as its HD camera seen at CES. Polaroid's Professional phone range appear to become pitched in the Alcatel side from the smartphone spectrum and ironically, given its heritage, the models on show brandished slightly lower-specced camera modules compared to final versions. The Professional X11B's 1.3-megapixel camera increases to 2, as the 3-megapixel Professional A12 steps up to and including 5-megapixel sensor. Regrettably, the series' flagship 4.3-inch model displayed in Polaroid's smartphone sales brochure skipped its flight to Barcelona, while, bizarrely, the significant mid-range model was running HTC Sense. However, i was told this software build was apparently there to show the (poor) screen technology. Quality is similarly depressing and felt plasticky and out-of-date already. I was told that final models would arrive just a little thinner, but that is just the start of the whole raft of enhancements needed here. Polaroid's distribution plans and prices continue to be just a little fuzzy, but until we learn more, you should check out our gallery for many close-up particulars.
