We have seen lots of robots inspired by character, but this robot jellyfish produced by scientists from College of Texas at Dallas and Virginia Tech goes one large step beyond resembling a jellyfish's actions. It's run by hydrogen, meaning it might potentially stay underwater for prolonged amounts of time and constantly refuel itself in the water around it. That, the scientists say, might make it well suited for underwater surveillance or search and save procedures, however they have a reasonable little bit of try to do before that occurs -- their next thing would be to increase its ability to move.
