Keep in mind that Android SDK Recon Instruments finally revealed because of its heads-up display goggles Well the organization was revealing the fruits of their labor at Google I/O 2012 with two demos -- particularly two-way Facebook integration and augmented reality utilizing a Contour camera. Within the first demo, the goggles are paired over Bluetooth by having an application running with an Android phone. Every time you jump while snowboarding or skying, the accelerometer data in the goggles is distributed towards the phone which posts a picture to Facebook showing the length, height and amount of your flight. Any comments designed to the publish are then immediately relayed to the heads-up display. The 2nd demo utilizes a Contour camera connected to the goggles and paired via Bluetooth. While you browse around, the output from you seems around the heads-up display augmented with labels showing the place and distance from the nearby train stations in line with the compass and Gps navigation data in the goggles. Pretty awesome, right Browse the gallery below striking the break for the two hands-on videos.
