Nokia announces In-Location, 22-strong industry alliance for mobile indoor positioning

With the majority of the outdoors pretty much planned inside an inch of their existence, inside may be the final navigation frontier. Today Nokia has introduced "In-Location" an alliance of 22 companies with the aim of driving and unifying industry innovation in mobile indoor positioning. Names out there include Broadcom, Samsung, The new sony Mobile and Qualcomm, but you will find some notable exceptions. The technologies pointed out include Bluetooth 4. and Wi-fi compatability, which we have already began to determine being investigated, and people are urged to talk about data that belongs to them existing aircraft pilots. We are able to apparently expect pre-commercial work and business design verifications this season, with phone-based implementations stated to become finding their way to avoid it in 2013.
