Folded among DoCoMo R&D prototypes and One Piece-designed mobile phones unlikely to really make it over the Off-shore, NEC's new Android tablet caught our eye. The 7-inch NEC Medias Tab UL is a very svelte slab. Calculating in just 7.9mm (.3 inches) thick and weighing only 250g (.55 pounds), named still handles to accommodate a 3,100mAh battery, along with a Snapdragon MSM8960 1.5GHz dual-core processor. If you would compare it towards the Nexus 7, Google's own effort look just a little weighty and thick from this whitened-finish tablet. Performance in the dual-core nick can also be superbly impressive, regardless of the curious DoCoMo-decked Android skin coating the Frozen Treats Sandwich OS.
In true Japanese style, there is a TV aerial embedded inside the side even though it will not broadcast the crisp high-definition delights of NOTTV, there's lots of terrestrial viewing available -- should you remain in the Land from the Rising Sun. I was amazed using its crisp WXGA screen, which looks to become TFT. The 1,280 x 800 resolution display meant videos and websites looked sharp, while there is barely any color degradation at wider angles. On DoCoMO's network, customers can anticipate seeing download accelerates to 75Mbs, and upload speeds striking as much as 25Mbps. Named has become on purchase across Japan, there is however still not sure yet onto it starting elsewhere.
