Calling her operation "Project SCRAP," Poulin continues to be tugging free furniture from the city roads since 2010 and retouching them for any second existence. She describes her motivation on her behalf website:
... [T]o save furniture in the trash and mix all of them with scraps from local companies to produce poetical and practical pieces.
You can observe some "before" and "after" photos on her behalf Picasa album, where Poulin takes relatively banal and decrepit furnishings, and with a brand new coat of fresh paint, upholstering or bits of scrap materials, transforms them manually into something fresh and absolutely charming.
