This Issue Will not Disappear as we Pretend It Does not Exist
It seems that Ottawa does not want the issues from the West Coast fish fisheries to become known by everyone (many people don't read Science). But this is not the type of problem which will go away as we neglected actually, some popular pressure on political figures would perform a realm of good.

The Privy Council Office also nixed a Fisheries Department news release about Miller's study, saying the discharge "was not so good, centered on fish dying and this is not on the brand new science aspect," based on documents acquired by Postmedia News underneath the Use of Information Act.

Burns continues to be not permitted to talk openly about her discovery, and also the Privy Council Office and Fisheries Department defend the way in which she's been silenced. (source)

Science ought to be science, and politics ought to be politics. When science is bothersome to political figures, that's too bad. They ought to possess the energy to silence researchers, and that i hope this story can get more attention than whether it had never been covered up. This type of crazy behavior by petty bureaucrats who think they are able to control information shouldn't be permitted to carry on!
