Google and NASA Synergy for any Eco-friendly Flight Issue with $1.65M Prize

13 teams are competing for that biggest ever prize in civilian aviation. The process: design a plane prototype than can fly 200 miles within two hrs, and get the same 1 gallon of gasoline per passenger. Seven from the joined planes are electric the relaxation operate on diesel, ethanol, bio-fuel or perhaps a hybrid system.

The winning team will require home $1.3m and also the four runners-up will even receive cash awards. Honours will also be provided for any bio-fuel entry too for the most quiet aircraft. The Eco-friendly Flight Challenge is placed for September 25 to October 3, to occur in the Coffee shop Foundation Flight Test Center at Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport terminal in Santa Rosa, California.
