Mobile Miscellany: week of December 26, 2011

Now might not have been incredibly full of news within the mobile world, however it was still being simple to miss a couple of tales in some places. Here's a few of the other things that happened within the wide realm of wireless for that week of December 26, 2011:

US Cellular preparing for Samsung Universe Tab 10.1 and Universe S II

Neither device continues to be introduced for all of us Cellular yet, but a look in the company's ESN system shows both Universe Tab 10.1 and Universe S II listed. Granted, this does not alllow for a promise -- and not does, until it's made official through the company -- but it is quite a strong indication it's a minimum of within the works and will in all probability be being released soon. ZTE introduces Fashion TV Android phone

If you have checked out the ZTE Edge -- also called the Bay Area -- and loved everything about this aside from the look, possibly this version might be of great interest. It's known as the FTV phone, named following the OEM's team effort with Fashion TV. Frankly, it is a ZTE Edge having a fresh paint job along with a couple of new Fashion TV-related applications and wallpapers. Heck, it even has diamonds do not get too excited, though, since they are just clip art-style sketches of diamonds incorporated included in the new exterior. Jewelry, indeed. No prices or availability continues to be set yet. [UnwiredView, GSMArena]
