2011: The Entire Year in Extreme Weather (Video)

I'd just finished posting concerning the large number of havoc wreaked by extreme weather occasions this year there have been 32 different problems that every cost over $1 billion, and something that cost around $45 billion after i happened this great PBS video segment around the subject.

The NewsHour show deftly summarizes the catastrophic weather occasions that hit the U . s . States this past year, after which proceeds to border them within the greater context of evolving global warming. Watch (via Think Progress Eco-friendly):

And Shaun Masters from the Weather Subterranean provides a helpful little example inside about precisely how global warming impacts weather: Extreme occasions "all often get elevated if you have this extra energy within the atmosphere. I refer to it as standing on anabolic steroids for that atmosphere."
