Rhapsody formally acquires Napster Worldwide, eyes European launch

After getting already acquired Napster here in america, Rhapsody has had its expansion a step further, using the purchase of Napster Worldwide. Underneath the deal, introduced today, Rhapsody continues to provide Napster-top quality services over the United kingdom and Germany, as guaranteed, and can eventually migrate Napster customers to the own infrastructure in March, with existing personal libraries remaining intact (Napster has already been reside in the United kingdom, but has yet to create its official German launch). The move also brings out changes to Napster users' mobile applications and web clients, with Rhapsody promising enhanced offline playback that has been enhanced library management tools "within the coming several weeks."
