Gizmodo's Mid-day with 50 Cent [Video]

An Afternoon with 50 Cent Dr. Dre made the decision to endorse costly earphones. Despite not exceptional, they are becoming pavement ubiquitous. Ergo, 50 Cent (also known as Curtis Jackson, also known as known purveyor of rap and B-movies and Vitamin Water), is not likely to be overlooked. We talked with Curtis about his new cans, Twitter, and ladies.

50 (that we made the decision to call him up, a couple of minutes before we sitting lower) is really a nice guy, almost nervous, and remarkably talkative. I only say surprising because Dr. Dre is a huge monolith of gadget endorsement, sitting stoic and mute at each press event I have seen. He likely fears that speaking with ruin the mystique he's been riding since his last album, which arrived on the scene between the nineteen forties, basically recall properly. Or possibly he just does not care he's wealthy whether he states anything further than a humble "Appreciate coming" or otherwise.

50 Cent, however, is within flux. He's gone from gun rapper to guy who croons about foot-curling sex to businessman inside a suit which costs a lot more than the Washington Monument. I attempted to appear directly at his jeweled ring and immediately were built with a seizure. But Curtis Jackson is really a friendly guy it's in the interest to become, because now he sells stuff that tend to be more effective than his tunes. His image like a congenial fellow matters like a salesperson. Or possibly he is really just friendly, regardless of the likelihood he didn't remember my title faster than I possibly could retract my outstretched hands. He photoshopped rid of it, though.

We spoken about his earphones, which seem very good. Much better than Dre's, that's without a doubt. They are clearly gunning for that identical market as Beats by Dre plainly colored, bass-heavy, prominent logo design on each cup and also you can't blame the man. Dre's be a wealthy guy made more potent by shilling for seem gear so why wouldn't you 50 I was assured that SMS Audio uses "technology" that pushes 50's cans past the kind of Dre or Ludacris, the second who I am confident does not really know he's promoting a earphone line.

That which was this "technology" I was never told. Among 50's publicists mumbled something concerning the word "obvious" after which stated she'd need to check. 50 did not appear in your thoughts.

But he clearly thought about the endeavor in ways Dr. Dre clearly does not. He wouldn't shut up concerning the attention he's put in running the organization, the truth that area of the proceeds visit charitable organisation, or his certainty that his Rapper Earphones are the most useful Rapper Earphones. He provides a shit relating to this business, superficial because it might be, recommending a job beyond signing off on the form and getting a check.

Is SMS Audio a cash-in Obviously it is a cash-in. But it is probably the most genuine-showing up gadget cash-inches up to now. We've got the technology whether actual technology or "technology" behind SMS Audio does not matter. People put on Beats by Dre earphones for the similar reason people put on Bose earphones, the same reason lots of people buy apple iphones: to feel and look awesome. How 50 Cent pulls that off does not matter, because the numerous individuals with a huge "B" attached for their ears might agree.
