NCBI ROFL: Naturalistic findings of beer consuming among university students. Discoblog

We observed the beer consuming behavior of 308 college students in a number of bar and party configurations. The next associations put together: males consuming beer in bars consumed .92 oz per min women drank less beer than males, and remained inside a bar for a longer period period patrons drank considerably more beer when consuming in groups so when buying beer in pitchers versus cups or bottles and times between party arrival and first drink and between party departure and last drink varied inversely with bloodstream alcohol concentration. We discuss these bits of information regarding developing interventions to avoid alcohol-impaired driving.
