QNX finds a house in the Porsche 911 (video)


Blackberry's QNX division really wants to expand its footprint and subsequently major push is within your vehicle. To that particular finish, a number of QNX engineers ripped the stock (and pretty damned good) Porsche mind unit on the 911 convertible and stuffed it with a brand new capacitive screen running the most recent build from the OS. As you can tell within the video following the jump, this is an attractive and quick setup, that does from Voice over internet protocol calls to navigation, and also, since it's running exactly the same software because the Playbook, it may theoretically run Android applications as well - even when the reps available wouldn't be honest.
