Rupert Murdoch, probably the most effective and questionable figures on television, has became a member of Twitter and he's acquired over 80,000 fans within the small amount of time he's been an associate.
The media baron's decision to become listed on the social networking follows a tumultuous 2011 by which both Rupert and the boy James spent a large amount of time protecting News Corp's status within the wake from the News around the globe phone hacking scandal.
It's unclear whether this move, from the guy who formerly stored themself tight-lipped, is their own decision or whether advisors have recommended this program so that they can endear him towards the public.
When it comes to coverage the move appears to become working, although Murdoch confesses some are unclear about his decision. He tweeted: "I am getting wiped out for kidding around here and buddies frightened things i may really say."
There have been several naysayers whether the account was real, especially following the candid character of 1 of Murdoch's tweets that mentioned: "Maybe Britons must many holidays for broke country!". The tweet was erased right after, however, along with a statement from Twitter founder Jack Dorsey confirmed that, "Together with his own voice, in the own way, @RupertMurdoch has become on Twitter."
Since we know that the account is the real thing expect that 80,000 figure to increase pretty quickly, and no matter how Rupert Murdoch's tweets are received that old adage, there is no such factor a poor publicity, is most likely the main thing on his mind.
