Sun Improvements showcase Transplay Animated Laser Display, projects blueish vision for the future (video)

Once we ongoing to understand more about much deeper and much deeper in to the underbelly of CES, something sparkled on our jaded eyes once we flitted between rows and rows of anonymous stalls. Already festooned with engineering honours, this animated laser display functions by beaming a laser produced image onto glass planes that contains a movie of nanoparticles. Although a blue projector was on show here, it is also being coded in red-colored, whitened as well as dual blue and red-colored. The projector itself requires only ten or twenty yards to project over the full width from the screen -- the demo package the thing is here was under three ft in the image, that was pin sharp. They are not necessarily concerning the implementation here, more the hardware, which accepts VGA input most likely through the USB connection or even the built-in XD card readers. Regardless, the present demo reel includes some retail display animations and rotating logos -- together with a peek at the Zune logo design -- however the system may also be converted into an augmented reality driving aid. Marvel in internet marketing yourself by looking at our eyes-on immediately after the break.
