Google Drive offers a bumpy ride for Chrome OS dev-funnel users

You understood it had been gonna happen, but Google's cloud-based storage service has been married to the cloud-based operating-system, as Chrome OS customers who receive updates through the dev-funnel may now take advantage of integration with Google Drive. Most particularly, Drive will appear being an additional folder inside the file manager, even though the implementation is not without its eccentricities. For instance, our peers at TechCrunch referred to the lack of ability to create these files readily available for offline access. It's understandable that dev-funnel releases aren't for everybody, but when you like living around the edge, then take a peep at what Google has available for that inevitable mainstream release.
