Google fires back at FCC on Wi-Fi investigation

Bay Area (AP) Google is firing back at the government Communications Commission with an analysis that brought to some $25,000 fine from the Search on the internet leader.

Inside a letter sent Thursday, Google Corporation. disputed the reason behind the fine. The FCC suggests Google impeded a company analysis into whether the organization had violated U.S. laws and regulations by collecting private information sent over unsecured Wi-Fi systems while taking photos of communities from 2007 to 2010 for that Street View feature on its mapping service.

Google places blame the FCC for dragging out an analysis that survived 17 several weeks. In the letter, Google stated it regularly taken care of immediately the FCC's demands, but not did not hear back in the agency for seven to 12 days.

Despite its worries, Google states it made the decision to pay for the fine to shut the situation.
