Regional network MetroPCS has introduced total revenues of roughly $1.3 billion for Q1 2012, up from $1.2 billion within the last quarter or more seven percent in the same period this year. Customers on contract now total 9.5 million, with 16 percent of these making the move across to some smartphone. Net gain has, however, dropped 63 percent since Q1 2011, with cost per user up 16 percent in comparison exactly the same period this past year. MetroPCS puts lower to "retention expense" and also the roll-from its 4G network. The 5th greatest US company added over 131,000 new customers, but growth is constantly on the slide -- it's lower from 190,000 in Q4 2012. Around the positive side, customers are sneaking to the carrier's 4G network, with 580,000 LTE customers nowmaking up 6 % of their total subscription base -- no matter individuals sneaking costs for limitless data.
