Android may have already leaking over in to the desktop world in a single form or any other, but what if you would like something a bit more project-friendly VIA Technologies is promoting the APC, a Neo-ITX-based barebones system managing a custom version of Android 2.3 enhanced for mouse and keyboard input. The board works with Small-ITX and MacroATX form factors, and has a VIA 800MHz processor, 512MB RAM, 2GB expensive memory, and built-in (as much as 720p) graphics. High-definition multimedia interface, VGA, 4 x USB, audio out / in, microSD and Ethernet arrive for that ride too, for any reasonable spread of connectivity. On top of that The entire lot is only going to cost $49. Not sure on when pre-orders will open, but drop your email in at the origin connect to discover once they do.
