Agility 4 SSD from OCZ introduced, already available at $150

agility-4-ssd-ocz-announced-in-stock-at-150 SSD makers frequently attempt to wow us with raw Megabytes/S, but OCZ is speaking up "enterprise-level" reliability, operations per second, and throughput equally using its new SATA III 6Gbps Agility 4. The 64GB / 128GB / 256GB / 512GB drives -- with Marvell-built Indilinx Everest 2 remotes -- have middling max read/write throughput of 400 Megabytes/s and 48,000 IOPS / 85,000 IOPS, correspondingly. However with Indilinx Ndurance 2. technology with no data compression, they're saying the NAND memory can last "well beyond" the manufacturer's specs -- without backing that track of actual figures. Prices appear steep at Amazon . com near the competition, but tend to drop once they hit the roads in volume.
