Google to hold Maps event ahead of WWDC, hopes to make Apple sorry for dropping it

Based on gossips, Apple will quickly ditch Google Maps for any service of their own (apparently to produce in iOS 6), but far whether it is in the search giant to consider that snub quietly. The organization will apparently hold a celebration to own press a "behind-the-moments take a look at Google Maps and share our vision" on June sixth. Based on the invitation, Google will demo additional features that "can get people where they would like to go -- both physically and virtually." That shindig goes lower just 5 days before Apple's WWDC, where Cupertino will probably announce its very own Google Maps alternative.
