HUBO originates to date from learning the fundamentals of mobility. The most recent from KAIST is HUBO 2, a robot with flexible braches that let it bend lower as well as do push-ups. The HUBO 2's hands are another large improvement, now permitting the humanoid to spread out vehicle doorways, manage a gear change and support 7 kg. KAIST used "individually actuated" fingers that adjust to the form of whatever HUBO 2 is holding, a la Honda's new ASIMO. The robot can walk 2 km on the charge, also it appears like it is a little a lesser slow poke now, too: KAIST elevated its running speed to 4 kph from three kph.
