After tentatively shutting lower (and refreshing) Apple and Motorola's legal spat, Judge Richard Posner has place the lid around the situation for good, disregarding it in the whole today. Neither company could fulfill the Judge's demand evidence of damages, leading to him to dismiss the situation and block both firms from refiling claims. "It might be absurd to dismiss a suit to fail to prove damages and permit the complaintant to refile the suit to ensure that he will have a second opportunity to prove damages." Posner stated, "This situation thus remains ignored with prejudice another to that effect has been joined today." Posner's dismissal with prejudice implies that Apple and Motorola's claims can't be introduced prior to the court again.
