Screen Grabs stories the uses (and misuses) of real-world devices in present day movies and television. Submit your sightings (with screen grab!) to screengrabs at engadget us dot com.

TV producers always think they are able to sneak a quick one by us and our bald eagle-eyed visitors. Little will they understand that together we're an almost easy pressure, able to recognizing, determining and mocking virtually every use (and misuse) of tech on television. A tipster caught this not-top quality tablet on the recent episode of Continuum and, after some sleuthing, we could identify it as being the Iconia Tab W500. With no company's branding it had been just a little tough to choose precisely what this slate was, however the off-center positioning from the Home windows logo design and different searching webcam gave its identity away. Sorry Canadian television, you will need to go the extra mile to sneak a tool by us.
[Thanks, Reece]
