If you wish to hook your Ethernet-ready products to some wireless network, you may either obtain the D-Link DAP-1513, or else you can watch for what Trendnet revealed today, the 450Mbps Dual Band Wireless N Media Bridge, model TEW-680MB.

This new device shares exactly the same design because the company's previous single-band 450Mbps Wireless-N gaming adapter, the TEW-687GA, however the TEW-680MB will also support the 5GHz frequency band.

Like other media bridge products, the TEW-680MB connects itself for an existing Wireless-N network, on either the two.4GHz band or even the 5GHz band, and bridges that link with a wired device blocked into its Ethernet port.

Unlike the D-Link DAP-1513, using its four network ports to take care of four products as they are, the Trendnet TEW-680MB only has one network port and for that reason can bridge the bond to simply one device. To replace with this, you will need Gigabit Ethernet to make sure that the bridged device can get the quickest possible connection speed.

The brand new bridge sports W-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) to assist rapidly hook it to some wireless network, and WMM Service quality (QoS) technology that prioritizes gaming, Internet calls, and video programs. About the front from the adapter a range of Brought lights shows its status.

The Trendnet TEW-680MB has a three-year warranty and you will be available this fall. It's slated to cost around $170.
