The dual-core Motorola Atrix 4G should obtain the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update beginning today.
(Credit: AT&T)AT&T is showing its resolve for Android today by having an announcement that verifies Android 2.3 Gingerbread updates towards the following phones: HTC Inspire 4G, LG Phoenix, Motorola Atrix 4G, Pantech Crossover, Samsung Captivate, and Samsung Infuse 4G.
Atrix 4G proprietors can get their update beginning today, while Inspire 4G customers will get an update in August. The Atrix 4G update will even let customers download applications from third-party stores. Because of different manufacturer skins along with other performance issues, AT&T hasn't revealed once the relaxation from the aforementioned products can get their updates.
Another Android 2.3 Gingerbread phone this is not on their email list may be the HTC Status, that is AT&T's first Android 2.3 smartphone.
