Roboden: Japanese Company Evolves World?s First Elastic Electrical Cable (Video)

They aren t as stylish as individuals curly cables we ve proven a couple of days ago, but Roboden [JP], the planet s first elastic electrical cable, is much more helpful. Its maker, major Japanese chemical company Asahi Kasei, states the cable stretches with a factor of just one.5 such as the our skin.

Within the video embedded below, Asahi Kasei mainly discusses robot programs. The cable could, for instance, do its part in getting rid of the mechanical and cutting up motions most humanoids have.

But it is also used like a general electrical cable, for instance to transfer data, like a more flexible USB cable, in wearable electronics, for motion-taking programs, etc.
