Report: Apple sees 350,000 textbook downloads within 72 hours after iBooks 2 debut

Apple has yet to produce any official amounts, but early returns on its new iBooks textbook store are searching pretty promising. Based on Global Stocks Research, a lot more than 350,000 books were downloaded within 72 hours from the store's debut, together with some 90,000 downloads from the iBooks Author platform. As Everything D describes, Global Stocks Research used a proprietary system to compile these amounts and has not revealed much about its methodology, nevertheless its figures, if accurate, would likely mark an auspicious starting to Cupertino's latest "reinvention."
