ASUS Transformer Pad 300 hands-on

Immediately after ASUS wrapped its Mobile World Congress 2012 press conference, the 100s of journalists present all honed in around the Padfone -- that 4.3-inch phone whose various add-ons can transform it into a 10-inch tablet having a full Texting keyboard pier. Following the crowds thinned, though, we spotted a red-colored tablet sitting alone within the corner. That might be the Transformer Pad 300, ASUS' new low-finish slate.

In writing, a minimum of, it is a slightly emasculated Prime, having a 10-inch Insolvency practitioners (although not Super Insolvency practitioners+) display and 16GB of storage, not 32GB or 64GB. Otherwise, the important thing specs stay the same: a quad-core Tegra 3 nick, 1GB of RAM, Android 4., 1280 x 800 resolution and dual 8MP / 2MP cameras. (Some models can also get an LTE radio, but that is something we'll need to revisit inside a full review.) Regardless, we wondered when the 300 could be just like the best in appears to be well (individuals fancy press shots don't always tell a precise story). Remarkably, it is not! Browse the photos below and try to place the variations, after which follow beyond the break for many quickie impressions.
