We've got to fiddle with Mozilla's HTML5-based mobile OS, Boot to Gecko, the very first time a few several weeks ago, and found it an encouraging platform, only one that wasn't quite ready for prime-time. However, it seems that Brazilians on Telefonica can get the very first crack at purchasing BtG phones, and also the mobile phone models are going to continue purchase through the finish of the year or perhaps in early 2013. What's promising -- for the South American visitors, a minimum of -- originated from Gary Kovacs, Mozilla's Boss, who made the announcement in São Paulo today. Regrettably, Kovacs unsuccessful to state what type of hardware will run the net-based OS, but Pablo Larrieux, the main innovation officer of Telefonica Vivo, established that the mobile phone models is going to be unlocked and listed to maneuver: they'll cost over a featurephone.
[Thanks, Henrique]
