Controller board for three dimensional ink jet printers stresses expandability, gives jerk to Sun God

Controller board for 3D printers emphasizes expandability, gives nod to Sun god

Is the three dimensional printer's standard set of features missing Maybe Elefu's Kickstarter-funded custom controller board might help. Named Ra (think ancient Egyptian god), the project places an emphasis on expandability and has a roster of I/O options including camera triggers and fans. The ATMega2560-based system enables for computer-free printing by using an LCD screen, Sdcard readers along with a knob. For inattentive designers, a stand alone and prrr-rrrglable Music player along with a light controller may be used to create alerts when printing completes, and adds extra flair too. The system will also support as much as three extruders and plug-and-play support for ATX energy supplies. Getting bending its $4,000 funding goal nearly three days in front of the campaign's finish, boards are required to exhibit on door this November and is snagged for less than $149. Mind towards the source for that full-feature list and reward tiers.
