KDDI unveils ICS 'Smart TV Box' for cable providers in Japan, available later this year

We have seen a reasonable share of Android-powered set-tops of all time, but KDDI (with the aid of Panasonic) has had a rather different entertainment route using its lately revealed Wise TV Box. Much like some Google TV boxes, that the Wise TV Box is not, KDDI intends to bring that one to cable companies in Japan to do something because the primary unit in living spaces, using the testing phase set to commence the moment the following month. KDDI's Wise TV Box is run by an undisclosed dual-core nick and feeds from a tasty bite of Mountain View's Frozen Treats Sandwich. So far as ports along with other features, there's High-definition multimedia interface and three USB ports aboard, while Ethernet (Wi-fi compatability, too) keeps you connected along with a built-in hard disk takes proper care of all of your Digital recording device needs.
