We do not have anymore particulars yet around the 10-disc Marvel Motion picture World set that put their hands up on Amazon . com last month, but Disney and Marvel have revealed don't be surprised Marvel's The Avengers on Blu-ray September 25th. It will likely be shipping within the usual range of combo packs: four disc with Blu-ray three dimensional, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital copy and digital download or two disc Blu-ray and DVD combo for $50 / $40 MSRP (correspondingly, Amazon . com presently lists the 4 disc looking for $35). What's going to arrive first this month however, is The Avengers Initiative: A Marvel Second Screen Application, on iPad and, the very first time for just one of Disney's second screen applications, apple iphone. Marvel is promising bi-weekly content updates until September if this moves as much as weekly updates of character profiles, interactive comics and much more prior to the movie even arrives. Extra supplies on disc includes 7.1 DTS-HD MA audio, a gag reel, behind the curtain looks with director Joss Whedon and cast, erased moments and much more. Look into the pr release following the break for that full list, along with a new trailer for that Blu-ray.
