MeeGo is not quite dead, and Nokia N9 customers are becoming another update pressed for their phone to prove it. PR1.3, a firmware refresh which has been within the works a minimum of since 1.2 was launched a couple of several weeks ago, has finally occurred official. However this isn't any simple bug fix -- the most recent sort of MeeGo provides an impressive 1,000 "quality enhancements, including mail, Twitter and facebook.Inch Based on Nokia's official support page, the update will even provide several network and connectivity improvements. The 203MB OTA download has become starting to unveil, beginning with unbranded products and branching from there. Continue beyond the break for that full statement from Nokia.
Update: We'll provide a hat tip to our commenters, who clued us in on the forum thread that talks about a number of these "quality enhancements." It seems that a lot of options are indeed bug fixes. A few of the actual boosts involve camera feature improvements, greater volume, NFC fixes, better video decoding and much more precise copy [thanks BertrandsBox!] We initially experienced sluggish behavior around the new update, but a factory totally reset appeared to solve the concern.
