Razer BlackShark gaming headset hands-on (video)

Razer BlackShark gaming headset hands-on

In the finish of August, Razer outed a black and eco-friendly-cloaked form of its BlackShark gaming headset. The initial unit first broke from cover just in front of E3, but on that specific show floor, the aviator-inspired group of cans was sporting nowhere and orange hues in line with its Battleground 3 branding. At TGS, we could take particular notice in the version that lacks a game title-specific allegiance. The hardware is similar using the lone exception to be the new fresh paint plan. If you are not really acquainted with the BlackShark, the headset does an outstanding job of remembering classic pilot models filled with removable boom mic to be used together with your PMP of preference. The $120 peripheral also features quite cozy heavily-padded, leather-esque earcups and also the same material systems the scarf having a dash of vibrant eco-friendly stitching -- all held over in the BF3 model. We were not in a position to test the audio quality on the program floor, so until our review unit arrives, consult the gallery below and also the video that simply beyond the break for a closer inspection.
