Skyhook sues Google for patent infringement again

Before Google found itself in the court proceedings opposite Skyhook, it had been facing anticompetitive and IP legal claims for forcing Android OEMs to make use of Google's location services. Yesterday, Skyhook filed a brand new complaint alleging that Bing is infringing nine of their patents. FOSS Patents reviews the IP under consideration is, like before, about geolocation technology. The patents cover various facets of a WLAN-based positioning system, and basically one of these were granted after the last suit, to ensure the new law suit.
