Google Plus Adds New 'Ignore' Feature

Google Plus added a brand new "ignore" feature to grant you further charge of your privacy. On the face, it will be for customers you'll still want getting together with your articles, but who you won't want to see appearing inside your stream constantly. Think about it as being a lower version from the "block" feature.

It does not have the symptoms of folded out everywhere yet (my Google Plus page still does not get it), however it seems like it will be a welcome filter. The recording above describes virtually everything, but here's rundown of how it'll work:

"Disregarding" a person will...
- Keep their posts from turning up inside your incoming stream
- Prevent you from getting notices concerning their activities
- Have them from showing up in your Circles page

Whereas "obstructing" a person will...
- Have them from leaving comments in your content
- Keep their posts from turning up inside your incoming stream
- Have them from seeing items you tell your Circles
- Take them off out of your Circles and Extended Circles

Also, customers will not be informed should you "ignore" or "block" them.

You'll have the ability to access the feature at three different points, including inside the stream itself, about the Circles page, or in the Notices menu within the upper-right hands corner.

Think about it as being something similar to Facebook's "Hide All Posts" you should check on eliminate people out of your newsfeed. The Following Web offers that this is especially handy for celebs because they hop onto G+, despite the fact that you are most likely not the following Kim Kardashian, it'll most likely be just like helpful for you.
